Cheol Ho Choi leads the theoretical chemistry group at Kyungpook National University and founded the Open Quantum effort. His research focuses on practical electronic-structure methods for ground and excited states, nonadiabatic dynamics, and the software infrastructure needed to make those methods useful to a wider community.
The group is especially known for the development and application of mixed-reference spin-flip time-dependent density functional theory.
